My Friends' Couches
Breakups are hard. Finding yourself on other people's furniture is harder.
After catching his girlfriend cheating on the night he planned to propose, a hopeless romantic crashes through his friends' couches, bad advice, and rebound disasters across New York City—only to discover the fantasy he's chasing may be the thing that broke him.
THE STORY
The perfect proposal. The worst possible timing.
Jack White has everything mapped out: the career, the apartment, the girlfriend, the ring. Then one disastrous evening sends his meticulously planned life straight onto someone else's sofa.
As Jack ricochets across New York, an unruly circle of friends, romantic misfires, and increasingly questionable advice force him to confront a possibility more uncomfortable than heartbreak: maybe the life he was trying to save was never really his.
A ROAD TRIP WITHOUT LEAVING TOWN
New York City, One Couch at a Time
From upscale apartments and tiny living rooms to the city's restaurants and sidewalks, New York becomes a full-fledged character—a place where finding somewhere to sleep is easier than figuring out who you are.
THE ANTI-ROMCOM
Romance, Disaster, and Real Friends
A sharp, character-driven, R-rated comedy with a raunchy streak and a surprising emotional center. When grand romantic gestures fail Jack, his friends become inconvenient mirrors—and the closest thing he has to a compass.
